A small distillery of a small nation that is curious about the world and what is beyond its horizon. The owner wants to give the world the best what they have on their island.

Takamaka rum comes from the Seychelles, a group of over 100 small islands located far from the mainland. The island owes its cultural wealth to its location on an important trade route, thanks to which the inhabitants had the opportunity to encounter many flavors. Peace, balance, and at the same time the great variety of the islands allowed for the creation of a unique rum to be able to share it and cement friendships. The aim of the inhabitants was to show the world the spirit of their island.

They wanted to convey its essence by creating rum to be able to spread the joy of it - not only on the island - but also around the world. Made without a strict relationship to tradition, but enriched with a large amount of history and unique flavors of the island.

Theese rums mature in a combination of American and French oak barrels. The distillation takes place using copper stills, then flows through the distillation columns to achieve its final purity. The endless summer climate provides the ideal conditions for tropical aging for Takamaka rums.
