Perlino

Perlino was founded in the year 1905 in the town of Castello D'Annone in the Asti province on the initiative of Giuseppe Perlino. Just a few years after its founding, the company appeared among the main companies in the industry, which allowed for the relocation of the headquarters near the capital of the territory, the city of Asti.

In the 1930s, there was a breakthrough for Perlino, the strength of which from then on was the production of sparkling wines, vermouths and classic Piedmontese wines of the highest class. Vermouth, produced according to the traditional Piedmontese recipe, was a particular leader, both on the local and international market.

Over the next decades, the next generations of the Perlino family continued the path chosen by their famous ancestor, thanks to which in the 90s of the last century the company could once again focus on spectacular development and innovation. Thus, a new production plant was built in the nearby village of Montiglio Monferrato, which uses an original solution related to the introduction of the use of special barrique barrels for aging the wines produced here.

The factory itself is located in the municipality of Asti, in the heart of Piedmont, close to the main centers of Langhe and Monferrato, not far from the city of Alba and only an hour from Turin. There are 3 bottling lines, one of which is for vermouths, creams and flavored wines, while the second is for sparkling wines, and the third - for small and special alcohols.
