In the year 2005, two gentlemen met at an event in Seattle. One of them (Ryan Magarian) was a bartender, the other (Christian Krogstad) - the founder of the House Spirits Distillery founded in the year 2004, which is located in the American city Portland in the state of Oregon.

Both men, delighted with the old style of gin (the one before the American Prohibition era) decided to take matters into their own hands and recreate its unique form closed in a bottle. Thanks to their persistence and hard work, in honor of the extremely popular Aviation cocktail (created in the year 1916 by bartender Hugo Ensslin - a drink based on gin, maraschino cherry liqueur, violet liqueur and lemon juice), the gin of the same name was created in the year 2006 - Aviation American Gin. The Aviation gin consists of 7 important elements - they are: juniper, lavender, sweet and bitter orange peel, cardamom, coriander, Indian spiked vine (sarsaparilla) and anise seeds.

This extremely delicate (less juniper) gin is distilled twice in a pot and bottled with 42% ABV. Each individual small batch (100 units) is handcrafted at the House Spirits Distillery in Portland, Oregon.

Its quality, smoothness and extraordinary popularity can be proved by the fact that in the year 2018 the famous Hollywood actor, known, among others, from the hit "Deadpool" - Ryan Reynolds, invested in the brand by buying shares in Davos Brands (New York distributor Aviation Gin). Since then, he has been the Aviation Ambassador around the world, and his comedic talent, which is revealed each time in advertising spots, has a huge advantage considering the increase in Aviation Gin sales around the world.
